DIY O2 sim

At this point, i have done enough electronic work that if i had a schematic i could make my own. I think they are severely overpriced for what they are. I have hptuners for my ls1 but my lt1 isn't supported and I want to run an ory.

Anyone have any schematics or possibly know what type of electronic output the sim should give off so that I can make one myself?

I've also heard of someone using a hollowed out spark plug to move the rear O2's out of the path of the exhaust..

There was a thread about it around here somewhere.. I can't find it searching under "dummy O2"

stupid ? -- but how would that help? That sounds equivalent to just removing them, bolting up the hole and taping them somewhere or something...which would obviously not simulate O2's.

pHEnomIC -- are you at your limit for PCM "not-ready" statuses? Could always wait for your next tune if not..

Yea -- that's why I asked if you had another PCM tune coming up soon - rather than try to make your own, that might be the better option (especially in the long run) and wouldn't cost much if anymore if you are having other things tuned out as well. But, I'm assuming you already have EGR and AIR taken out -- so that's already the two "not ready" statuses from the PCM -- I think 3, and you fail emissions....if you have emissions.
