Deepest speaker to fit in door, 93 nonBose

How deep on a 6.5" can I fit? Crutchfield says the 1.75" deep 6.5 I want will not fit but I found someone saying it fits in their Camaro but I have no idea if he had Bose before and if that makes a difference.

I really need new 6.5"s and almost all will fit in the back, but the doors seem picky. Help me please!

Also, any suggestions for good door speakers? I'm think of getting 4 of these for the car http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TSA1...72R.html?tp=95

Amazon has them much cheaper

Really? Why does Crutchfield seem to think the 2 5/16" deep speakers I want won't fit? (93 z28 w/o Bose)

If they will fit, I'll get 4 of those instead of the ones in my other post.

I've looked at that outfit my car link on Crutchfield before and found it to be wrong after going outside and taking some measurements.
