I guess the other post got pushed off the forum. For those who care.....

Summer vacation started so I should be done with this the next 2 days since today its raining. Ill let you guys know how it sounds.

that wood looks like..... You should use MDF whenever you get the chance. It's easier to work with and usually is similar in price as other inferior quality wood. It looks MUCH better carpeted, now that all the wood is covered up, lol.

Looks pretty cool.
Looks like you built the boxes themselves out of MDF, then built the covers out of the chipboard... Since chipboard is cheaper than MDF usually, it makes sense... Plus, it's LIGHTER!!!
