Custom Passenger Side DVD Screen

i got an idea, but i don't know how much work it would be to install?

i want to take out the passenger side air bag. In it's place i want to take that panel that says air bag on it and make it into a lid. A lid that when opened drops down an LCD screen for the veiwing pleasure of passengers. and then when you close it, it just slides back and the lid closes. Any ideas on how that might be accomplished or just how much work would be involved in that? or does anyone have any pics where that has been done? i am sure that it can be done fairly easilt with the steering wheel, just not sure how well it could be done on the passenger side? any ideas?

Re: Custom Passenger Side DVD Screen

you can have a mortorize tray which holds a 7" screen, custom built into where the front air bag
was. If interested, contact Mark ABATE (owner of
Sound Choice Audio & Perf.) He custom made &
installed a 17" screen in my '02 SS camaro show
car. Check out my photos.

Very nice idea, and it's been done to death by the import boyz.

I gotta go, but I'll be back with some sites that can help you out. I'm about to mols some into my door panels. Nopi show was an eye opener. Imports are killing us right now!!!
