Question Courtesy Lights Acting Up?!

ok well my car was this way when i bought it...the courtesy fuse is a 20A fuse and right now i have it unplugged because when i have the fuse in...the courtesy lights will stay on at all times, even when the car is turned off, doors closed, and let sit for well over a half hour...i removed the fuse bc i dont want them draining my battery...i do not have remote entry if that makes any difference...to me it sounds like a bad ground...lemme know wut u guys think and how to fix it please!!!

A 20A fuse for the courtesy light? That doesn't sound right to me at all. Are you sure thats the value thats supposed to be there? I seriously doubt that you have a bad ground. If it were the ground then the lights would work intermittently and not just stay on all the time. Have you checked to make sure your dash light dimmer isn't turned all the way up making the lights stay on? Either way I would check into the fuse size for that circuit. 20A sounds way too big to me.
