Convertible Sub Guys Stock or Not... Help!

I'm in the process of upgrading the crap stock setup (not Monsoon) in my T/A Vert. I need some good ideas for mounting a small sub in the truck preferably without tying up the trunk space.

Anyone use the small side area in the trunk on the driver's side with good results?

I'm sure I could squeeze a 6.5" in there but how to do the enclosure w/o using fiberglass. Did GM make a stock set up for the verts?

I don't need to thump... I just need some solid bass.

Thanks in advance!

If you want to be able to hear and feel the bass when the top is down you will need a large system in the trunk. When I had my Camaro I had two Rockford Fosgate 12" being pushed by 900 watts RMS. I eventually moved it to the backseat.

a sub and amp in trunk

I have a 12 inch Alpine sub and amp mounted in my trunk and the only space I lose is the deep well where nothing really fits anyways.

Before I did it my golf clubs wouldn't fit correctly, not they fit fine. I will post pics later if you would like.

its never going to be loud with the top down. My buddy had a 95 TA with 2 12's and 1100 watts to them. When he would put down the top bass would disappear.
