Connector problem in Fuse/Relay Box
I have a 95 Z28 that has 1 set of the conectors that have been pushed down into the Fuse/Relay Box. Does this box come apart so this can be fixed? Any help here would be greatly appreciated
The under hood box is a Delphi electrical enclosure. If you look closely, you'll see that the box is two parts - the top part holds the terminals, fuses, and relays, while the bottom plate protects the underside and provides mounting to the car.
Totally fixable if the terminals just popped out of place, and if they are damaged you can order replacement terminals from a delphi distributor. If you look closely on the the shorter sides, there are several tabs the snap the upper half to the bottom. By pushing these in carefully with a screwdriver, you can pop one side free and then the other, letting you get to the underside - but you'll want to remove your airbox/cai to give you some room.
Which fuse or relay connections were lost?
