Connecting 2 speakers to a 4way deck?

Can I just leave 2 unconnected or will that cook the amp? Its for a Kenwood deck I'm putting in an old MGB that only has 2 speakers.

The amp will be fine. Just use the front or rear speaker outputs to power your 2 speakers and tape off the remaining wires so they can't short together or to ground.

Thanks, I figuered that, but I play guitar and if you do that to a tube powered guitar amp you would have a dead amp. Just wanted to clarify, thanks alot.

Nothing worse than the smell of your output tranny letting it's smoke out.

if your use'n speaker level out-put's from the h/u to the speaker level in-put's on the amp.....use rear to rear for the best sound if you dont have a opiton to use rca's.....or you can buy a high level to low level converter which will allow you to use your speaker leed's from the h/u to the converter and rca's from the converter to the amp.....most of the converter's have a signal level adjustment to match the out-put volt's to the in-put volt's of the amp
