Complicated Question - Stealth box for Driver and Passenger side
I have an Audiobahn 10" which i would like to put into a stealthbox. I did email Steve at subthump.com with all of the information he needed and asked him the best application for it, the driver's side or passenger's side stealthbox. Since the total space of the driver's side stealthbox is .5 cubic feet, he said that would be perfect. But that does not include the displacement of my woofer in the box. Would box filler fix the displacement problem? My woofer needs atleast .5 to .9 cubic feet. Another problem i had was the depth of the woofer, 5". He didnt tell me if it would fit a woofer that deep. I might ask him again. Do any of you know if it would fit?
Now, the Passenger's side stealthbox is .7 cubic feet and I am pretty sure that 10" would fit in it. But if i did get that one, I would have to remove my jack and spare tire; not to mention cut away my back panel to match the driver's side. I guess my main question is... which box would you knowledgeable car audio experts use in my position (with the Audiobahn 10", 800 RMS, 5" deep)?
If anyone has any detailed pictures of either driver or passenger side post install, please post them or send them to me. Thanks guys!

I personally would go with the driver's side stealthbox. I think you'll be able to mount that sub right into it without problems. Worst case, you have to make an MDF spacer that mounts to the box, and then the sub to the spacer to give you the extra clearance you need.
The depth of the driver's side stealth is over 9" so you'll be fine. And a woofer's displacement is very small so that shouldn't be a factory. Although you can try some polyfil if you like. I don't really think you'd need it though. Hope that answered your quesiton.
Do you think I can put a couple of those spacers on to get more volume out of the box? Or would that be a waste of time. I have carpet and wood, so they would not be hard to make.
