Complete Infinity System

I recently purchased a complete system which I hope to have installed within the next 2 weeks, I have completely stripped the z down and installed dynamat throughout..... : Jensen VM9412 In-dash 7'' flip-screen touch-screen DVD/CD player/receiver with my Ipod & XM Satellite connected....also connected the PAC SWI-X steering wheel radio control module to still have function out of the steering wheel controls Complete Monster wiring throughout the car< 4 RCA's Grounds,power, rewired speakers 2, Infinity Refference Series 4012i 4" 2-way speakers in the rear, Infinity Reference Series 6022si 6 1/2'' shallow 2-way speakers in the rear/backseat side panels, & Infinity Reference Series 6010cs 61/2'' component speaker system in front door panels, MTX Thunderforms Custom single 10'' enclosure <fits in the whole on the drivers side of the hatch....loaded w/ a 10'' Infinity Reference Series 1050w subwoofer, everything powered by the Infinity Reference Series 5-chennel amplifier 5350a ..built carpeted amp rack in trunck on the wall where the t-tops store...still fit....i went w/ infinity cause i this 2 look factory when im finished wanted a complete system w/ brand & u cant beat infinity for the price & quality everything will be crystal clear and neatly installed when im finished...im going 2 school currently at georgia tech 4 electronic engineering ...this is what i enjoy doing so im excited 2 see how this turns out....ill post pics when its complete....oh im also installing a high amp alternator & optima yellow top battery!!

you'll be jacked when you hear those infinity's in that car. my exact speaker setup (minus a pioneer 6800 deck and reference 12's in the back)

so clear, yet loud.

I run Infinity 6012is all the way around plus a 10" Elemental Designs Sub in the same MTX Box

I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the setup

let us know how you like everything -- if you haven't heard a complete Infinity system...might want to first if possible. Many feel they sound very bright. Though they are no doubt decent speakers, you can beat them as far as price/performance goes...brand -- maybe not, only because I assume you said that based on them being more well known/popular and a lot of the better speakers you will find are not well known amongst non-audio enthusiasts.

Also sure you know this by now if you're at school taking eng. classes.....but electronic eng, electrical eng, etc. has absolutely nothing to do with something like putting together a system like this.

really fred?...i have heard at least 20 infinity systems....i know about all kinds of brands.....ur saying you can get jl or memhis component speakers for $40 dollars a set brand new w/ a warranty?....and yes...electronic engineering has everything to do w/ designing & ENGINEERING audio components

I am not a fan of Infinity stuff, but at the end installation is what can make or kill any system. Good luck with your setup and post pics
