Co-ax: OK for a budget systems

Comps: The best way to go IMO for your main front speakers.

Mids: Only for rear fill (not really necessary in a well setup front imaging setup). If you absolutely have to have rear speakers, band pass them from 80Hz to about 250Hz.

I mean for the rear.

This should have been a reply to my other post but this will work to. I will have Alpine components up front, I want to fill the back but i dont know with what. Should I use mid ranges? if so what kind? or should i use alpine compontents or coaxials?
Thanks for the help.

Start by NOT having any rear speakers at all and see what you think. If you're happy with that setup you just saved yourself some $. If in the end you feel you absolutely have to have rear speakers then go with a set of mids crossed over as mentioned above. You can power them off of your HU. You won't need another amp for the rears.
