clock stays on

clock stays on

the clock stays on all the time. what do i have to do to fix it.

It's supposed to, I believe.. that's hte only way it can keep time. I woul;dn't worry, though.. It shouldn't drain your battery at an alarming rate or anything.. it takes a little burst of electricity on and off to move the needle a bit

what year and model. Never heard of it supposed to stay on, I know mine doesn't.

Are you talking about the factory analog clock or some headunit type clock?

Doesn't that year have the clock on the factory hu that when off and key is out of ignition, you can push a button a the hu and the clock will show and then fade away after a few seconds?

Oh, I thought you had a 1970 camaro, so that's what my previous posts were based on..

Has the radio wiring been messed with at all?

dont really know if the wiring has been tampered with. bought the car last oct. with a busted v-6. it now has a lt1 in it. the first time it had a battery in it since i got it, to start the new motor {oh it sounds so sweet..}
