Clarion VRX 8271 5" LCD.....

Whats up. I just bought this on ebay and I didn't even think about whether or not it would fit in the 2001. Also if anyone knows anything about these, how's the display quality?

Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not good at posting links. If you go to ebay and enter this Item number though, it should pop right up.

Again, looks like a solid unit. Clarion makes decent products. They just look a little hokey to me. If you like it, by all means get it. It should serve its purpose fairly well.

The seller states the item is ferurb'd, so it might not be shipped in MINT condition. If any, Im sure the blemishes are small.

Keep in mind youll have to add a source, probably a nice DVD player, that will double as a CD player, which would kill me. There really isnt space up front to mount something like that. Running to the truck to change a CD would get old quick. There could be a way to add both the DVD/CD changer tho. Definatly something you should look into.

By the time all this adds up, you might be able to score a all in one 7" unit...

Yeah, I know I need the DVD player, but I already have the factory 12 disc changer. Do you think it would plug right into that, or are plugs company specific?
