Here is my old one that broke after a month... I like it best but they are wayy behind on back order and i have already been waiting a month and they obviously dont know when they will be in.. DEH-P840MP

I like my old one but if i downgrade to the 740 ill get two 12s and a custom box and installe for free, but if i 'wait for another p840 i wont get that for free..... I think ill go with that different cd player, and hope the heavy *** speakers and box dosent add to much weight.. I really liked the mechanical double face of my old 840, does anyone know of mabey another company that makes a similar product???

I am perfectly happy with the stock system..

 

i think sony makes a similar headunit

 

the Sony CDX-MP70 is kinda sort of like it but i hate sony so i wouldnt step down in quality to one however have you thought about the DEH-P9300 from pioneer? its last years top of the line model and can be found relativly cheap around $320 brand new and it will do everything you would ever want and then some.

What in particular do you like about the Pioneer head units? Try to think of some other good ones. Check out the Alpine CDA-7894. Plays MP3's and has 4-channel time correction

 

Im not a fan of any particular make of cd player, i just REALLY liked my P840 beaus of the cool double flip out face and i liked the selection of graphics it had most of all... With me, i want something capable of handeling some power, but im more for looks...
