CD deck turns on, but no sound

It worked fine and now it's a clock. I can turn it on, and the sound will be there for a second then it will go silent. If I press am/fm button, the same thing.

Is there a fuse, or something?

I doubt it's a fuse since you got sound for a sec. Is it Monsoon?

Its fubar dude. Happened to mine years back. You can pay hundreds of dollars to have it fixed at a local place or just grab another one off the boards.

A '97-'03 Grand Prix head unit will also bolt up and plug right in.
