cd deck

my car has the factory delco bose stereo in it with the factory sub in the back (i think its a sub), but my cd deck dosen't read all my cd's and its been acting up a little lately, now is there a way i can buy an aftermarket deck and put it in and still get full use of my factory sound, im not sure if my car has a factory amp in there somewhere, but what i have done many times in the past in different cars is i buy the wiring plugs and wire the aftermarket deck to it and just plug it in the original plugs in the car, i think thats the best way of doing it since i don't cut the factory wires and can always put back the factory deck if need be, but im not sure if i can do the same with my camaro and just buy the aftermarket plugs, i hope i made sense and explained this ok, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

you could try the install edge premium sound interface and see if that will allow your aftermarket deck to work with your premium system, usually the bose system on some cars has the individual amps on each speaker, sometimes you have to rewire everything to get it to work, also i dont think your factory sub will work either with an aftermarket deck.

each speaker has an individual amp powering it....to replace anything, you have to replace everything, speakers and deck. the install edge premium sound interface will not work with the GM Bose system.
