Case of the missing speakers!

So, im sure this is part of the package my car came with or whatever, but i'd like to make sure. Today, after owning my car for the better part of a year decided I would like to see why my rear speakers weren't playing (rear side panels). So first I pull out my aftermarket head unit and play with the wiring to make sure everything was wired correctly. Seems alright, power is going to everything. Then I decide to pull the rear speaker grills off and have a looksie. SAY WHAT? No speakers, just a covering over the hole made of a sheet of some puddy substance. I'm assuming my package didn't have these speakers? (bose). Also, there doesn't seem to be any harnesses run to either side. Where can I purchase this harness? Expensive? I'm going to be purchasing new speakers all around sooner and later, and i'd like to have the necessary hook-ups. Thanks!

Hmmm, you should have speakers in the side panels. Im pretty sure all Camaros came with at least 4 speakers. The harnesses might have just fallen behind some sheetmetal or some trim, but they should be there. If ya cant find anything, then im not sure what to tell you other than buying an aftermarket amp and wiring everything up the right way.

This is true. I believe '95 was the first year of the 5-speaker Bose.
