Wow, if i didnt know better, this was my old post....I posted this exact type of thread, with links to ebay of the same brands LOL...kinda freaky.

Anyway, I didnt get too much help here, and I still havent gotten an alarm..went with a hotcam kit instead

From what I hear, I think the pagers of the cheaper ones tend to break in your pocket, due partly cause they're cheap, and partly cause they're a lil too big for a pocket.

Finally, most people told me that if I buy one online, then I should know how to install it. Call your local install shops and see if they will install this brand if you didnt buy it from them. Some will only install alarms that you buy from them

Sorry that I couldnt help you any more, but this is really all I know...other than DEI is good but alot of $$$

Also, alarms are only as good as the install...meaning if you install it and do a crappy job, its kinda worthless...

Dude if I was you I would check into Clarion alarms. That is what I'm getting for my car and getting it installed by a dealer. They are one of the best bang for your buck alarms I have seen. Other ones like Viper are good too but you pay a little more $ just for the name Viper.
