i have had a custom f body box sitting in the closet for some time now and have to decided to fix the ride up some and put a stereo system in it. im more then likely going with jl audio subs and amps. does subs sound pretty good in these cars. also if any of you have pics of your setup they would be greatly appreciated. thanks

 

subs sound really good cuz they have alot of air way...i have a friend with a camaro and he has two twelves and they sound loud...

Yes - it doesn't take much for subs to sound decent in these cars due the the hatch. I have a friend (pentavolvo) who has done many installs, and he has said that Camaro installs usually turn out sounding more efficient.

not to hi-jack. this might help the OP aswell. Do you guys have rattles in your car from the subs? no? did you use anything?

how do you like the qlogic box? get pretty decent low notes? i have one of the regular camaro boxes that drops down in the trunk and fires straight up. always liked the qlogic boxes but got this one for $20 so i couldnt pass it up lol

 

i like the q-logic box its the secound one i have owned the first system setup was stolen
