brake switch help

brake switch help

alright so my brake lights arent working. wires are fine, new lights. fuse gets power.. i say wtf.. since they used to work and now its like no screw you . so i pulled it down... and well...

that 4 prong slot... i dont have teh connector for it. its nowhere in my car. is that something thats just for like optioned out v8's or soemthing. I have no idea wtf im going to do.. replaced the brake swithc and lights still dont work.. so im wondering if its this connector that magically disapeared

I think that other plug is for that auto cars. It has to do with the whole pushing in the brake to switch from park thing.

Curious, I know some of the brake switches are different if you have cruise control or not. Does your car?

Yea I have cruise, but there is a seperate smaller switch for that. There's actually 2 of them if you have a manual, one for each pedal.

Im having the same problem but my lights worked when I replaced the bulbs... Then the next day they were not working again.
