Bose sub question

What are the settings on the stock bose sub in the rear hatch? I am curious as to its size, ohm rating, and wattage that its amp puts out. I am thinking about replacing mine with this.. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+RVF+164.html#
Tell me your thoughts. Thanks

the stock bose "sub" isn't even really a subwoofer... it's just a speaker like the fronts that is just made to filter out the high frequencies and only play low frequencies. i believe it is a 2 ohm speaker. don't know much more about it.

YUP as stated above, oh and yeah thin paper cone FTL.

Not worth the trouble to fiddle with, you either don't care enough or it's garbage if you care it's better to just replace the entire system, or at least drive amps via a PAC OEM1 line converter & all new speakers + plus a real Sub I did that for a while, but eventually went to an after-market head unit
