Bose amp location?

In my '94 Camaro, the Bose factory system (with rear deck subwoofer) has lost both front channels and I can't find the amp - I've pulled the covers in both doors and all I find are the speakers. The 'pop' I used to hear every time I turned on the radio on or off is no more, having been temporarily replaced by a high-pitched squeal and now total silence.

Can someone tell me where the front speaker amps are located?

Re: Bose amp location?

Each speaker has it's own amplfier module. If your car is like all the other Bose systems I've seen you'll find the amp attached to each speaker system.
