Big problems with my system..

About a month ago I hooked up 2 orion h2's to a 4000 watt Lanzar amp. Then hooked all for component speakers to my 1000 watt amp. Everything sounded great until today. I stupidly forgot my headlights were on, so my dad had to jump my car. Well since then,

*my capacitor will only charge to 9 volts when the car is on
*my lanzar amp will not go on at all
*and my legacy 1000 watt amp goes to the red light automatically.

The lanzar amp is the anly one hooked to the capacitor. The fuse on the 1000 watt amp is fine. I just don't understand it

Any help would be appreciated. Music is my life, and a quiet ride is something i dont need

Sounds like something may have been fried. Do you have any in-line fuse(s) for the power wire(s). I would get a volt meter and check all power sources and grounds. Good luck with the hunt.

is that a self-charging capacitor?

the job of a capacitor is to oppose any changes in voltage. If you deep cycled your battery, odds are it discharged the capacitor and 9v is not enough for the amp to turn on.

check your battery voltage with the car running at idle. it should read somewhere around 14.4v.. at rest with the engine off it should read near 12.6

if those measurements don't reflect your car, the battery was damaged due to the deep cycle.
