back seat subs
back seat subs
I had an idea. I plan on removing my back seats anyway, so I was thinking of putting maybe 2 10 inch boxes where the seats are (one where each seat was). Is this a good idea cause I figued I could still use my trunk and stuff.
My subs are Infinity Beta 10s.
I just used some cardboard to cut a template for the curved sections around the side panels. I made my box out of 3/4" MDF, the front, top and back run the whole width of the car, and then I built two separate .5 cu ft (there would be room for more) chambers for my subs. I used fiberglass to seal all of the inside corners and took it to an upholstery shop to have it carpeted.

Go to a car audio show, and a good one not just an informal, it's done by the experts all the time and they do all kinds of things, like I had 16 15's in the back of a dodge caravan in an octagon shaped box, it's easy to do and sounds better than if they are blocked from the front
