Anyway to get rid of the "beep"???
Anyway to get rid of the "beep"???
We just installed a new Pioneer DEH-P760MP in my brother's car and he absolutely loves it, except for one thing, the beep. It beeps everytime you do anything with it, turn the vloume up, change a setting, anything. Is there anyway to get it to stop doing that? It's annoying the crud out of him. If you can keep your cell phone from beeping when you hit the keys, you should be able to make your nice new CD/MP3 player be silent also!
It's not in the manuel, but has anyone figured out how to do this? Thanks guys!

It's easy to stop the reverse color thing on the OEL displays. While the car is on, turn the cd player of with the source button. Then press and hold the "5" button(for the radio station presets) til it beeps. That will turn off the color reverse thing. It was doing that on my brother's so we read the book and found out how to turn it off. It was really annoying.
I really hope there is a way to get rid of the beeping though, that's just annoying that they don't give you the option of getting rid of it.
