anyone in here familiar with the bose system from a 94??i have a few questions
i just picked up my car last week and everything was fine, the only thing wrong was the LCD on the radio and cd player didnt work, and the speakers to which i thought there would be 4 total are only 2, and the passenger side doesnt work, i cant ever find the wiring for the rear speakers, and when i try to adjust the levels on the radio i cant get anything to go to the passenger door speaker, anyone know what the problem could be for the LCD and the cd player, and where is the wiring run to the rear speakers?

Your 94 sound's just like mine. I believe there were 3 diff. Bose setup's that you could get in the early 4th Gen. Camaro's. There is no wiring in the rear because your car didn't have that option. When I started doing mine, it only had the 2 front and the 1 very back on the driver side that was a 6 1/2 in a small box as a sub. That was 1 setup. The other was the front 2 and the rear 2. The last was 6 speakers all together, 2 front, 2 rear, and 2 in very rear.
I might be wrong, but that's what i've been told in the past by some other Camaro guy's. I'll be checking back with the reply's to see what other people have to say, that way I will know the right answer for sure the next time this question is asked. Hope I was SOME help.

From what I have seen, most or all 94's came with the 3 speaker system. 2 in the front doors and the rear fill/sub in the back driver side of the hatch area. Each door has an amplifier mounted to the black plastic where the speaker mounts. More than likely the speaker or amp is bad.
The 95's and 96 Bose cars were mostly or all 5 speaker systems. 2 in the doors, 2 in the sail panels by the rear seats and one in the back driver side just as the 94.
On the deck, you are better off just finding one.

You would really need to just either buy a harness from a 5 speaker system or leave the rear sail panel speakers out. I actually think that the harness connects to the rear subwoofer as the additional 2 rear speakers also do bass. The other option would be to run wires into your doors but then you wouldn't have fading.

To be honest, you might be better off just dealing with what you have for now, get some money together and buy an aftermarket deck and speakers. Just thinking of long term. Once you do go to all the trouble of doing all the wiring, finding a way to hook the speaker wires to the back of the deck, and what ever else will come along. I kinda had the same prob. with mine and I just ripped everything out and re-did it and i'm alot happier. Just a suggestion.
