Exclamation amp not on, urgent

I am wiring my new HU and i get done, and i can hear the sound, barely, with the volume all the way up. I think that my amp is not turning on (factory amp). How do I fix this?. i bought the sochee adaptor to run the amp. . which wire is the remote line going into the amp? and what one will make my antenna go up.

Why are you using an adapter to connect a factory HU to a factory amp?

The factory amp doesn't use a remote turn-on lead. It senses when there is an input voltage coming from the HU and turns on.

This is the best adapter for adding an after-market HU to the factory stereo in a '99 Firebird.

PAC OEM-1

It plugs directly into the factory harness so you don't have to cut and splice any of the factory wiring. You'll also need the ADD-GM21C cable harness to go with the OEM-1
