Amp in Convertible Trunk area

Amp in Convertible Trunk area

Has anyone ran a amp in a convertible to the trunk? I have have done it in non convertibles but cant seem to find a way to run the wirng back to the trunk area...If someone has installed 1 in a vert would like to hear how you got the wiring back there

It's actually quite easy. I ran the wires under the door trim and up into the rear panels (where the back seat speakers are). There's a clear run from there into the trunk.

I assume you had to remove the trim piece to gain access to run the wire through there to get the wires to the trunk? And if so how hard is it to remove that peice? It looks like a pain to remove it..

I only removed the panels at the bottom of the door. I used a coat hanger to fish the wires up through the rear panel. You can also reach through when the roof is up.
