hmmmm...I still think I'll go with the Alpine. One reason is because it's a front load not one ya gotta 'fold' down. I'm afraid if I get one of those that it may burn out & stop workin ya know? Well thanks for all the info!

You'll be happy with it. Like I said...both Alpine units that I've owned have pretty much been trouble free...whereas my first pioneer wasn't. Had to send it in for service 3 times before they let me select another HU as a replacement. (I must really like the way it sounded since I bought another pioneer after all that!) For the money though...and hassle free use...you'll like the Alpine.
