I just finished installing my 7892 alpine and I have problems with Cd-player. There is no sound coming out from the speakers when using CD player mode. The unit shows that the Cd is working and playing (song time is elapsing), but there is no sound. When I am listening any radio station there is no problem (sound in all speakers), but CD player doesn't work. Maybe you know something about that?? Did you have that problem before?? I think that this is something simple (maybe a hidden function or something). I turn off all mute functions, but the problem is still there...

ps. During Cd player mode there is a blue FUNCT light on the display (meybe this will help)...

 

Pull it back out and double check the wiring because.... The BLUE and BLUE/WHITE wires may have been reversed at the time of installation. The BLUE antenna wire will shut down when you switch to CD. Use the BLUE/WHITE wire for your turn-on lead on the amplifiers. But... the audio will still work on a radio station.

 

I alredy found the solution..connect blu wire with blue-white wire ...It works!!!
