Question Aftermarket HU face plates

I bought a 97 WS6 Convertible a few days ago and it has a JVC head unit. However, the face plate is missing.

Is there any other place than Ebay to try to find one? I don't feel like buying another HU if I can find the face plate somewhere...

You can call JVC, but they might want some kind of proof of ownership. They might think the radio has been stolen.

Faceplates are super expensive.

I had a customer ask for a price on a replacement Sony faceplate for this guy

It would've been cheaper to buy two of them used on eBay than to buy a replacement through Sony.

Re: Aftermarket HU face plates

I did find a few on Ebay for 30-50 bucks, so I'll probably go that route.

I'll give JVC a call, though just to see what they say. Proof of ownership is a bit tough, though, since there is not manual/receipt or anything for the player in the car...
