yup yup. I thought about getting the 8000, but then I thought about it...might as well spend the extra money now than having to do it later. See if you can sell and upgrade to a 9000

ok guys, went to one of my local stereo shops and here's what they had to say, for the newest poineer touch panel with 6.5" screen and all is about $1600 ( their price) and $55 to install it, doesnt seem like to bad of a deal to me, and imm sure the price can be dropped a little if i find somewhere thats lower then them... but the amazing thing is that they told me that the tv screen touch panel was covered under warranty and that they had it in for a few weeks and they make good use of them, to show that there's a good product. he said they push the buttons hard and stuff and have had no problems... when i asked if there was a warranty just for the touch screen he told me that the warranty covers the product as a whole, so if anything at all goes wrong, it would be covered... the model is....Poineer electronics

be sure to specify. Yes, there's manufacture warranty againts manufacture defects, I'm referring to the user's fault. Anyways, that's a pretty good price but let me suggest one more thing. I would try to get the 7" just for the bigger screen. I think you'll like it better in the end.
