My car came pre-wired for the CD changer and originally had the '96 7 band EQ tape deck. It actually came with a changer but the previous owner took it with him.

I later replaced the tape deck with a '97 non-monsoon cd deck. I recently picked up a '97 Delco changer. It plugs in and checks for discs but apparently the '97 deck doesn't have CD changer controls.

however, the CD changer harness plugs in to the back of the deck?

What gives?

And the kicker is that I sold the stock tape deck about 6 mos ago, LOL. Guess I'll have a Delco changer for sale soon.
