96 WS6 blown speaker, replacing w/ Pioneer 3 way
I have a 96 WS6, with the 10 speaker CD player system.... it has a blown mid range on the right side......
I heard the speakers are really 6 3/4" (but some 6.5" have 6-3/4" mounts).........
I can get the employee discount at best buy so i can get theses 6-3/4" Pioneer 3 ways for like $55 with a 4 year warranty!!!!!

I am planning on running them on the factory wiring......
I heard something like the stock speakers (at least on LS1's) are 2 ohms were these speakers are 4 ohms, so they wont sound as good as they should?????
What are the pros and cons to doing this..... ??????

Impedence of the speakers won't affect sound quality at all. You might get half of the power that the stock one's get though.
I have a '95 formula with the 10 speaker cd system and the front speakers were 4 ohms if I remember correctly. My right side one blew too.
But those pioneer's should be a decent replacement.
