2ohm DVC?

I currently have a 4ch amp bridged until I pick 2 mono amps for the subs. My question is this:

Is there any advantage to wiring each coil(x4) to a channel over series/parallel setup(x2)?
I am currently 400wrms x 2 @ 4ohms bridged but could also go 200wrms x 4 @ 2ohms. Either way I am still putting 400w to each sub so does it make a difference?

Re: 2ohm DVC?

id keep it how it is. technically 4 ohm's is cleaner power then 2 ohms.
