My folks just got a 2000SS, has a monsoon tape deck in it. They want a CD player, and would like to just get a factory monsoon CD player. I have found a few on ebay, and I know they'd bolt in, and I'm pretty sure the plugs are all the same on the back, but am I going to have any problems with the theftlock system, or should it just plug in and work. Does the CD player need to be de-coded, or un-programmed. I used to work at a GM dealership, and it seemed like some it didnt matter at all, just take one out and put another one back in for most cars, just never did any stereo replacement stuff on a camaro. thanks for any help
