2000 Z28 monsoon with new receiver??

2000 Z28 monsoon with new receiver??
i had a 98v6 mom has it...
i now have a 2000z it has a monsoon sys in it..
can i swap the receivers... put the monsoon receiver in 98 and the sony in my Z?? eventually(prob the weekend after its swapped) switch the 4 speakers also...
will it harm anything since it is the monsoon speakers/boston accustic speakers in the other car..? on the dif receivers???
