ok 1st one is, i have the most expensive radar detector from radio shack, whats yalls opnion on this...i mean it works alot but i see alot fo cops and they usually dont go off...the only time is when they have there radar on or something..but i dont get it...

my front right speaker is weird, everytime i hit a bump it makes a LOUD static noise like if 2 wires are touching, and i think that it is the cause of my dead battery...but what can i do what if 2 wires are exposed and i cant get to them, specially if its behind the dash?

Radar dectors work on the radars signals use to clock your speed. If theres no signal coming from the cops car no radar will pick it up.
