I'm going with 2 12" Alpine type R's powered by an Alpine MRD-M1005 (1000X1 at 2 ohms). Enclosed in a Dual 12 " T-top Box from subthump.com (1.1 cubic feet per sub).
Now my problem is I cant decide to go sealed or ported. Here are the recommended volumes: Sealed-.7 to 1ft3 Ported-.75 to 1.1 ft3.
If I were to go ported, does it matter what size port i use? Because I cant find the recommended dimensions anywhere. Does anyone have a rough figure, or know where I can find one? Thanks for the help, in advance.

 

Go with a sealed box. IMO they sound the best. If you don't have the port properly tuned your bass response will be lacking. Sealed boxes are much more forgiving than a ported box that is not properly tuned.
