1997+ Stereo help
I bought a 97 and from the pictures it has a stock tape player. it has 2 grilles in the back hatch. What stereo do I have? Is it anything specail like the Bose on my '94 Z28? I'm looking to buy a stock '97 Camaro cd player on ebay or w/e and put that in, then upgrade the components. Do they have the same ohms or w/e? Any help?

Pretty sure they do, it's the Monsoon tape deck as far as I know.
I wouldn't spend the money on factory junk... There are plenty of entry level Alpine, Pioneer, JVC, etc head units that you can get in the neighborhood of $120 that will kick the crap out of any factory crap GM sold.
