Unhappy Young's F-Body Motorsorts

I was wondering if anyone else on here has had or is having issues with this company. I ordered an SLP CAI from them since they had the best price and web site says $16 for shipping. They charged me $38 for shipping plus the price of the CAI 2 days after I placed my order. Well that was well over 3 weeks ago. I have talked to them 2 times with promises that they will get back to me and sent 2 emails with no replies. They told me it was being drop shipped from the Manuf. Now I have done some research and am regretting placing that order.

Thumbs down

OMG this company is out there. I still have yet to get my intake. I have been calling and sending emails every other day. Either I dont get an answer or I get someone who dont have a clue. Including the owner who said I had to speak with Denise. Guess what she said a week earlier, Yes I had to speak with the owner or shipper. I have talked to shipper(Todd). He cant help either. So to sum it up they place the charge on your card 2 days after you order with shipping charges more than twice the amount advertised on the web site then never ship the product or return any calls or emails. The sad thing is my son and I both have 4th gen Camaro's and they could have made some money from us. Beware of them. I learned the hard way.

So the rant goes on about Youngs F-Body Motorsports. Yesterday I filed a complaint with the BBB. Then I decided to check with SLP themselves since the item was being drop shipped to me from them. The order was never placed and the item is in stock. So I just want to reiterate to all that this company is not a good place to do business with. Maybe on a walk in basis if you live there but do Not order anything from them.

I will give them a few days to respond to the BBB complaint. Then all hell will be unleashed.

Well yesterday I spoke with T.R. Young. He said he would call me back (sure he will). I am still waiting a full 24 hours later. So to date I have talked to most everyone employed there and sent 3 or 4 emails. Never had a reply or call back. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They have till the 14th of Sept to respond. Yesterday I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. The thing that ticks me off the most is that my CAI is in stock at SLP and will ship the day they place the order. Very nice people there. Please help get the word out about these guys. They need to be out of business.

So yesterday I decided to just got to the bank and fill out a fraud report with my Debit MC. My sister is the manager so it was real easy. I wonder what I will get first, money or my CAI. I was over on thirdgen.org message board and they have so many threads about these guys. I joined just to get in on the action.

Update on FBMS. Today I actually spoke with a person. So I know they are there. His name was Evan. He seemed very genuine and willing to help me. He looked up my order and said it had no item # and was listed as misc parts and thats why it has not been ordered. Then I asked about the price of shipping being way more than the web site says and he said he is going to try and get shipping refunded so I dont have such a bad taste in my mouth about them. I guess time will tell. I will give them till mid next week and start over again. I will still never order from them again but at least maybe I might get a part now.

Update on FBMS. Yesterday I finally got my part. Over 1.5 months. So far Evan has lived up to his word. Still waiting to see if he is going to refund my shipping. He even said that if I order again talk to him and only him. He also said he would give me a discount on my next order. Seems like the only one there that has a clue about business. If you do have to order from them just talk to Evan.
