JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
Its really too late. i'm just gunna buy the cover. and buy a new visor. Pretty disappointing.. When the visor is installed the flap kind of hangs down. I had someone in my car lastnight asking me if it was supposed to be like that arrrrggghh
Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
Sorry it couldnt be worked out. I'm not taking sides but I know how it feels to be on both ends and it sucks when it doesnt get worked out. So hard to trust anything anyone selling on the web.
Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
I'm not so sure why it's so detrimental that a broken piece be shipped back for a refund. It's BROKEN !! It's not like your going to be able to resell it unless you sell it broken, in which case noone is going to buy it.
So he ships this broken item back and you refund him so you can throw it in the garbage. Thats about the dumbest thing i've ever heard. IF it was a good usable part, i'd request he ship it back. But this is broken and is no good to anyone. Just give him the money back minus shipping and let him throw the damn parts away.
Yes it is that easy.

The fact remains the parts left here perfectly fine and JnJ offered to refund the price of the parts minus the shipping (what company refunds shipping??) if he sent the part back because that centerconsole is still perfectly usable.
Oh and so you know
part number 10271366 ---ashtray lid $10 from gmpartsdirect
part number 10413138 ---- upper centerconsole piece $54 from gmpartsdirect And thats just the upper piece, that does not include the ashtray, shift gate/gear selecter, etc. So thats even more money.
You paid $15 for the f*cking thing and you are here crying like you are the one who got ripped off. Add another $10 for the ashtray lid and you are at $25, that is still less then 1/2 the price if you bought it new. I could have vary easily sold that piece for $30+, but instead i'd figure i'd give someone a break since i had no use for that at all. And you come on here badmouthing JnJ.

You're right that you sold the part too cheap and that he should be happy with it for the price. However, if you represented it as something other than what it was, you did wrong. To me, it is apparent that you shipped it broken because the ash tray area is notwhere that part would have been damaged. I ship every day with fedex and parts are broken in the area closest to the box, not in the middle.

Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
I have read this entire thread, and was reluctant to voice my opinion. However now i am compelled to do so. What is the issue here? The issue is that A member purchased a product from another member....JnJ's. He recieved the part and it IS broken. J&J obviously knew that the visor was that way, and there is no question that it is NOT right, it is defective. He has now shown that, and he owes the money for that item. Next, the console also is broken. I am sure that the buyer will still use this item, and buy a new part to replace the broken portion. Now this is evident that this DID NOT happen during shipping, it is in the middle and is not in an area that would get broken during shipping. Most would agree with what I have said. Therefore J&J and the buyer should negotiate a price for the console piece that is broken. This transaction has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of you other people, whether you have had transactions that went great with J&J, personal friends of his, or haters of him. Friends and customers of him can say that the transaction they had went well, but they cannot come in and say there is NO WAY that he would do that because they WERE NOT part of the transaction. They negotiated a price and for at least the Visor it is not what was represented, and I am sure that J&J didn't tell him about the broken piece of console either. Next issue is about the shipping cost. J you ARE responsible for reimbursing that as well. YOU misrepresented the parts, this is not the buyers fault AT ALL. So as for your refund crap about the $10, that is 100% BS. You negotiated a price that included shipping, for a misrepresented item. The purchase price that was paid in no way should mean that because he paid less then the going rate, the buyer should get broken stuff...in what world is that right? Some may think they were getting a bargain, I would call it getting ripped off assessing the circumstances.
This is a Raw deal for teal99camarov6 plain and simple. If J&J is really worried about keeping his rep up then he should fix that. He does owe for the beat *** visor that he sold, and he at least $1 for the ashtray lid. Why don't you just paypal the kid $10 and call it a wash...i am sure he would be willing to delete the thread if you negotiated some sort of resolution for this. When you make a mistake, whether it be intentional or unintentional there is consequences and J&J nor his friends can dispute the fact because there are pictures showing the damage, and J&J already stated that the visor "is supposed to be like that", when its not really, and he knew it left his shop like that.

Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
I know people at fed ex and when a box is ****ed up do to them. They will actually repackage the item to make it look like a sellers at fault. sorry boys jeeves is really not J&J. J&J is close to me and give me great prices on stuff so please leave him be damn. Nothing but good has came from him you say J&J everyone knows him as the guy who can get anything
Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
There are so many ways to prove a package has been re-packaged. There is no way Im willing to believe any business is dumb enough to repackage something they screwed up and think it wont come back to haunt them.
Re: JnJSpdShop BAD SELLER
All I hear is excuses. It was like $10 he should have refunded, he has a business he can afford it. I know that is not justification, but clearly money is owed. There is no reason for J's personal friends to come on here and say that it couldn't be his fault. I see what your saying though, he is such a great guy and does everything right, thats why he came on and oppologized for misrepresenting the product and gave the partial refund in a timely manner

JnJ has done a hell of a lot of harm to his reputation over this deal. I sell stuff on ebay as a second (or is it third?) job, and things like this happen. If I had been JnJ I'd have sent the guy ten bucks for a new ashtray lid, and he'd have been happy. And as for the sun visors? Those are clearly garbage and were clearly junk when he sent them. That's how those parts go bad and why 99% of them out there are trash. I would never have sold them, but I did have a guy on this board sell me a set just like that. I opened the box, saw the visors, and threw them in the trash.
It looks like local guys are having great luck with him but as an impartial observer, the thread starter got screwed on the visors and JnJ turned his back on the problem with the console. I wouldn't order anything from him because of his refusal to fix the problem.
89385 formula have you recieved your package?
