Fbody Motorsports a good seller?

Looking to buy a new grille off of them if I don't find it cheaper anywhere else. Anybody had any experience with them?

They're not the ones in NC are they? If they are, I've heard a bunch of bad stories about them.

I didn't like the old F-Body Motorsports but they have been bought by a another place called Camaro Specialties. The new guys seem like a lot nicer people.

Yea, it does say that Camaro Specialties owns them now. I just wanted a grille, that's all. I wasn't sure if I was just gonna go find a used one or get one new. Seems like they're one of the only ones that sell them new.

I'll never purchase from them again. Ordered a fuel regulator/line kit for my 91 LS1 swap and it took them almost a month (after telling me it would be out in a couple days) and when I got it, they didn't even bother to tighten the fittings so when I went to test it fuel went everywhere.

So yeah, they lie, take forever, and have shoddy workmanship.

I tried to order new Z28 emblems from them. After a month I got tired of waiting and tried emailing them. They never responded to any of them. Then I tried to call them several times and whenever someone would actually answer the phone I would always get the same line "I'll have _______ call you back". After a couple of months of this I opened a dispute with my credit card company and got my money back. I later ordered the emblems from Year One and they arrived 3 days later.

When did you guys order? Before or after Camaro Specialties took over? I looked it up on YearOne (thanks lt1camaroz28) but it was $78 versus the $55 from fbodymotorsports.

Not sure when Camaro Specialties took over but I placed my order in April of this year.

Even though I think the guys seem pretty nice you might be better off buying it elsewhere to avoid the possibility of trouble.

+1 for Hawksthirdgenparts.com

The LS1 swap wasn't easy, but it was worth it
