Do you really think that they would use the Colorado's rear on these new "performance" RWDs...and actually use an SLA up front????

Still, even $100-150, why would you screw it up for that?
I just don't get it.

The difference in cost between a John Deere suspension and a world class IRS to GM is the cost of a nice night out for you and your wife.

$300 per car for Ford still isn't much too, From what you say I'll guess $100-$150, (I'll skip a night of steak dinner and mini golf for that)

Charlie.. I feel bad for you.. sometimes knowing things like this can lead to hair pulling (I've never met you but I hope I didn't offend you if in fact you've been pulling your hair for a while and there is nothing left
)
Now about the stupid decision..... is there someway we can let GM engineers know what we want and can present it to higher ups as proof that a Colorado setup won't be acceptable to the consumer...
Right now I hope that people at GM are reading these kinds of boards because penny pinching is not the answer.. I don't want to sound selfish but can't we sacrifice something else to make up the difference such as say.. delay the HHR altogether?? or something similar...

I figured 150 bucks, depending on what town or city you go to. If its a really nice night, and in NYC...150-200 is can go quick.
If you are in East Gibbip, Tenn, a night at the town fair might only set you back about 50.
So for under 300 bucks, they couldnt just add that to the price of teh car? How about adding that magical 1k to the car?
Re: Zeta Lite....brace yourselves.
Where is Lutz? Where is Queen?
Hey...everyone who wanted live axle should be happy.
Lord save GM if I see leaf springs under a 5th gen Camaro.
200 bucks...pissing me off.
Maybe GM needs to raise money, like a fundraiser?
Could you imagine Wagoner, Lutz and Cowager showing up to your door, selling candy? Entertainment books?

Re: Zeta Lite....brace yourselves.
For every decent decision GM makes anymore, there is some huge mistake they make that not only counteracts it, but leaves them worse off. What the hell is wrong with these people?
Re: Zeta Lite....brace yourselves.
The automotive press would eat them alive for this. I would be truly suprised if the leaf springs happened. The solid axle, yeah I can see that, but the leafs, no way. Even GM isn't that dumb. When was the last car produced with a leaf spring rear? The 1980's?
