Looks too much like a Holden, IMO. It'll be interesting to see what the Oshawa-built Zeta Buick looks like.

If their objective is to compete with Lexus, and part of that goal is to make inoffensive looking cars that appeal to customers that are the equivalent of luke warm milk, they have succeeded. It is a good looking car, but a little bland and to me would look dated quickly (like current Ford 500). I would understand very conservative styling on a mainstream Chevy, but a Buick should haev at least a little style, like Enclave. Somewhere between conservative Chevy and over the top glamorous Cadillac. That vehicle is too close to the conservative side, imo.

Then again, I am not their target market. So maybe it will be a great car for its intended audience.

It is a Zeta Buick, yes, but not our Zeta Buick.

So their goal should be to make offensive cars that don't appeal to customers that are the equivalent of having hot chilli sauce thrown in your face?

Though they would certainly get plently of press, it sounds like a damn good way to sell less cars to me ...

I dunno, Buicks were plenty bland long before they started competing with Lexus.

Perhaps inoffensive was the wrong word. It is a good looking car, but it looks "current", rather than "forward". Like a 1-2 year old car already. And it isn't even out yet.

Buick does not have to be vanilla. The latest Buick show cars have been fantastic. I do not think they would alienate traditional Buick customers if they offered cars with 75% of the looks of the cielo, velite, and centieme concept cars. And they might also attract new buyers as well. The Enclave is a perfect example of a good Buick to me. Stylish, classy, but not quite as "Bling" as a Cadillac.

But that is just me, and again, I am not their target market. GM probably knows their customer better than I do, so I do hope they sell well.

Yeah, I think that would be a good add along with the rear hips. I like it though.
