Z28... Guitar amplifier???

http://www.drzamps.com/z28.html

Never heard it, hope it doesn't suck.

Interesting though that you can get a Paul Reed Smith Corvette guitar, and a Z28 amp...

Hey, how come PRS hasn't done a Camaro guitar yet???

Oh... and Chevy oughta have PRS do a single special edition Corvette guitar with the inlay artistry along the lines of this:

What you are seeing there is about a bazillion little itty-bitty pieces of shell, semi-precious stones, precious metals, fine woods and GENUINE "been frozen in Siberia for 30,000 years or so" MAMMOTH IVORY individually cut out, complete with a matching pocket in the guitar and then inlaid.

I was thinking maybe the car crossing the finish line at LeMans or something... PRS sponsors the C6.R, BTW...

I would suggest that Chevrolet let me help them develop that one in conjunction with PRS. I'd be happy to contribute my 27 years of playing experience to ensure that it lives up to the Camaro name...

And would do it for a nominal charge of a few Paul Reed Smiths to add to my guitar collection, purely for research purposes...

Dr Z makes GREAT amps, and they all have funky names riffing on the Z. It doesn't suck at all.

Very true...

Even being a dyed-in-the-wool Fender fan, Mustangs suck...

Well, maybe that's too harsh...

Compared to epic classics like the Stratocaster and the Telecaster, Mustangs suck. Fender always makes good stuff.

The pricing isn't horrendous... although 22-30 watts at $1200 is a bit steep since there are only 2 output tubes involved.

With only 22 watts, it can't make it past 5!

Note: Sound pressure is a logarithmic scale, so 22 watts is better than half as loud as 44 watts...

Both of which pale next to a 100 watt half-stack.

I knew there was SOMETHING OK about you Pacer. Now, if you were a BASS PLAYER, then you really would be COOL.

You gotta dig deep brother, but I have my positive points...

I just hide 'em under layers and layers and layers of curmudgeonly
bristles and general snarkiness on the intarwebnet.

In person, I'm like Ghandi... but nicer.

Hmmm....

Bass player...

I have a 5-string Fender Jazz bass and a Bass POD in my collection, does that help?

FWIW, I still have my old Peavy tube bass amp in the garage and my Fender Bullet Bass somewhere in the attic. The Peavy amp is parked right next to my 95% original '67 RS.

Well, ya got me beat in the '67, but a Squier Bullet was my first axe. And when I was playing in bands I ran a Peavey Mega Bass through a 2x10", 1-18" cabinet. It would feed back nicely (especially for a solid state amp) when I brought my Rich Bich real close to the head.
