YTD Average transaction prices

Average transaction prices for Ford, GM and Chrysler have increased over the first six months of this year. The increase is the result of better control over inventory and a reduction in incentive spending. Edmunds calculates its average transaction prices based on transaction data from its Web site and sales trends.

I think GM's gain has been all in no rebates on Camaro and Equinox..because a lot of other stuff else has a crap ton of rebates on the hood. They also have been pushing 0 for 60, which I am guessing is not reflected here.

GM's average transaction price (and the big 3 in general) is obviously so high because they sell so many trucks and SUV's.
