Your thoughts on future vehicle announcements?
Future vehicle announcements can work one of a two ways:
1. Generate Excitement: a glimpse into the future of the products we want to be driving.
2. Create Disappointment: disappointing styling, specifications or just plain too far away to seriously consider your future buying options.
Personally, I find it frustrating that GM are 'too slow' to introduce exciting product, or at least, announce future product decisions too early before a vehicles' official introduction. What I would like to see is this: if a concept is unveiled at a Motor Show, I would like GM to do a Chrysler and announce scheduled production within 12 months (at most).
Therefore, I'm interested to read your views on GM's future strategies, concept unveilings... and media speculation (which can be shaped but not necessarily controlled.)

Re: Your thoughts on future vehicle announcements?
I hate when they show something or say they have it when it doesn't reach the market for over 2 years. The build up the hype and then it is forgotten about when it finally is on the market, by then people aren't as excited.
