It doesn't look bad, I would take it over the Focus if I had to choose between the two.

 

It still boggles my mind why we don't get any of Ford's quality performance products from overseas

 

Ford has been burned in the past. A big problem is the dealer network doesn't know what to do with those cars. Another problem is that by the time you get it over here, the cost is similar to brands such as Mini and Audi, yet most people won't pay that for a Ford.
