World's rarest 2003 Chevrolet...

... is apprently a 2003 Cavalier coupe with a 5-speed, the 1SB package (CD player, floormats, etc... NOT an LS) and ABS in silver, gold, green, white or blue.

I'm trying to buy one right now. Payment ends up at right about $219 a month for 60 months with zero down and zero percent interest. At that price, the 1988 Aries beater gets retired if I can ever find one.

Within 500 miles of Detroit, there are precisely ZERO of them.

Holy buckets... it's not like GM doesn't make a bazillion of these things.

Just think, you can re-use this title if you ever sell the Cavalier on eBay... also add "2FAST2FURIOUS" and the like.

You know...

The thought of slapping on that dealer-installed supercharger has occured to me...

No fart can, no stickers, no spoiler.

Ecotec actually has some parts available through GM Performance Parts and I could fab up headers and machine a new pulley in my sleep....

It'd be a real hoot to beat up on a riced-out Civic or an SRT-4 with a Cavalier.

SRT-4's are pretty quick though...

Selling your Camaro?!?

Firing squad at dawn for you, bub.

What do you want on your tombstone?

Amazing considering how much I got flamed for buying a V6. Sad too..I think the Trailblazer EXT I am looking at is bigger.

Seriously...I am tired of not being able to carry more than on person in my car or drive to work when it's crappy weather wise. Camaro's don't do 70 on the interstate in the rain.

Cavalier with a blower smaller pulley & headers with no outward indications of performance?

You know if you take one of them "fast & furious" ricers on the street with that combo, they'll need serious counselling afterwards.

Why not?

I drove my 99 Z28, with ASR, of course all year in Ohio... never had a problem.

Even without ASR, going 70 in the rain shouldn't be an issue...

Planning to go with the "almost on demand" 4WD or 2WD with Traction Control?

Hey Pacer, I'm a dealer. I'm fairly close by (at least for a scenic drive!), and I've located a few for you. Drop me an email or pm and I'll let you know.

Heh... 70 in the rain isn't even a challenge.

70 in snow, on the other hand, well... that'd be PLENTY harrowing.

Good luck with your new car!

The Eagle GA's that come standard on the V6's don't do well in the rain.
